  1. There were parts in the song I liked, but I don't think I liked it very much. She really dated herself by adding all those people, ex.-Fucking M&M. lol I'm sorry. I was liking it at the beginning and then I ended up not enjoying it.

  2. btw--I still give her props, because she got to sing at TED. That makes her cool in my book :-)

  3. Is she famous? I don't think she's very good at singing. Actually, she's quite bad. :( Maybe she doesn't normally sing and play piano at the same time? (Very hard thing to do!) As for the song, it had a very Broadway feel to it. I didn't like it, but that's because I hate most of Broadway's Vaudevillian jingles. I'm a Phantom of the Opera kind of guy, not The Music Man.

(I looked her up on Wiki after I wrote this.)

  4. I'm pretty much in agreement. Her singing voice isn't that great. But I thought he song was kind of cute and clever.

  5. She's actually pretty famous and an awesomely subversive songwriter. People have made some well-deserved comparisons to Randy Newman. My paticular favorite, Mother of Pearl.

I'd say her voice is stronger on that. She's also a pretty good rapper.
