Nicky-names

It occurred to me that I've been called several different nicknames with semi-regular frequency. Here's my list:

Jay
JJ
Blue Jay
Jimmy Joe
Cyclops
Ninja
Jesus
Prophet

Now show me your lists! Any unusual monikers?

  2. Most of them are based around the last name. There really isn't much one can do with the name "Ryan." For a long time in my adolescent and early teen years, my mom called me "Ry." I liked it because she only called me by that nickname when she was being motherly and I knew I therefore wasn't going to get scolded or lectured or summoned to do chores or whatever, but I hated it because it felt so forced. XD "Ry." It'd be like calling me "An."

  4. The production side of my office has recently taken to calling me "Young Daniel Wolff." There's no "Old Daniel Wolff" in the office, but somehow they feel it's appropriate. It does have a nice cadence to it. I've had too many nicknames to remember with my last name: Dan the Wolffman, Wolffenstein, Wolffpack, etc. They all felt immediately tired even the first time someone said it. Lately my roommate likes calling me Dannybean with varying shades of earnestness. Of course, none of these are as bad as my nickname freshman year, Dave.
