A subtle homage to Carl Sagan and the pale blue dot? Eva, the ova shaped robot, holding the seed of life and entering a vagina shaped compartment? This pixar take on the "Idiocracy" premise is full of heart, humor, intelligence, amazing imagery, character, and nods to several sci-fi movie classics. Wall-E almost bests Pixar's best film, "Toy Story." So close it doesn't even matter.
I award Wall-E 5 Pope hats.

You suggested this to me at Donatos' and I was all "Pixar, BLAH" but everyone has been saying that this movie is one of the greatest they've seen in years. The thing is, from what little I've heard about the premise (i.e. where Wall-e is and how that place came to be like that) it sounds like it's going to be a tearjerker. ;_;

The Incredibles was better than Toy Story, deal with it. That said, I really want to see Wall-E.
The Incredibles, Dan? Really?
My top 3 are Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Monsters Inc. I know, I know, cliché for the first two and weird for the last one. But not as weird as claiming The Incredibles is the best one of 'em all. :p
I loved Wall-E. I'm going to see it again.
A Pixar take on Idiocracy? Did they have an "Ow! My Balls!" scene?
If there is one thing missing from Wall-E that it could really use, it's an "Ow! My Balls!" scene.
I knew most would go with Toy Story, but I didn't think The Incredibles was that much of a sleeper pick. It holds up to repeated viewings better than any other Pixar, although I haven't seen Ratatouille. Seriously? Monster's Inc.? I'd put Finding Nemo ahead of that one.
Let's agree to disagree and agree that Cars sucked hard. Of all the ones to sequalize, why? I know it was a hit, but it had the most paper thin plot of all their efforts. What could you possibly do with that?
Probably should have made the full list to start off with. Ranked in descending order, but categorized on top of that to help you see the difference between shallow lines in the sand and giant gorges.

To put it into perspective, you ever seen or read W;t ? I would compare the movie version of W;t with Finding Nemo. Good ... but daaaaaamn dull. Not entertaining and not for the funny bone, but good food for thought and for exposing your kids to good morals.
