While "An HTML" gives me pause when typed, it is what I would always type if producing it myself because I type as I speak, and it's DEFINITELY spoken "an HTML" in American English, as the letter is "Eych" (US-E) and not "Heych" (UK-E, or at least Mom's side of the UK-E).
Yeah I looked into it. It should indeed be "An." I thought it may have been one of those instances where what I think sounds right, isn't. Not so. But I'm too lazy to change it.

Yeah, I would think it should be "an HTML," too.
