You guys went blue! And by one of the slimmest margins of any other state (except maybe North Carolina). Congrats on being one of the few people in the country who's vote truly counted!
This was the first election (of two eligible) in which I voted, and the first election (of one eligible) in which my parents voted. It is cool to consider that we actually mattered. Maybe. *still conspiracy-theory-ey skeptical about whether the votes were really counted or not* Anyway.
I was just thinking to myself this morning when I woke up, how awkward do you think it'll be for the next two months for Senators Obama and McCain to return to duty in the Senate? Especially Obama: it's like he's gone from a powerful and semi-popular senator to being "the new kid" (even though he ain't new) that all of the other Democratic senators are going to want to get a piece of. I imagine the man is going to have a lot of Democrats voting with him and a lot of Republicans blocking his legislation over the next month and a half -- and I mean more-so than already occurs along party lines.

GOOD GOD, INDIANA, PLEASE FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE GO BLUE! If for nothing else then for fun's sake!

Yeah, I was really surprised. I went to bed last night thinking "same ol', same ol'"
And then Indiana pulls through!
