I love it, though.

His "Texan" accent sounds like a drugged Jack Nicholson. But he seems like a nice guy who is quite aware that he's in need of help with this one, so that's cool.

And it never ceases to amaze me how other people not only think that we have an accent, but have sincere difficulty sounding like us. It's so amazing how each human being thinks of his own voice, "I am accentless" and thinks of all others "Hmm, there's an accent to the way they say things, and if I want to sound like that I'll have to modulate my own voice as best I can." So, so crazy. :)

I remember in particular one time when we had a Japanese sensei who thought her English was almost perfect and we told her that as a matter of fact it was pretty obvious to everyone that she was a foreigner because of her strong Japanese tendency on how to pronounce vowels and consonants, e.g. "Where is the bathroom?" might sound like "Whea izza za basuroom?" The grammar's perfect, but the pronunciation ... not so much.

Copy & paste for us with British accents or for this guy with his American accent. Honestly, copy & paste for Miss Amy Walker, too: she got on my nerves with about half the accents she allegedly imitated. (To quote Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor, "WRONG!")
