I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see Gooby! Seriously, I've watched this trailer like 10 times already. Looks like that other movie about a boy who befriends a monster may have some serious competition.
Yes and no. Yes, I've seen this trailer over 10x, yes I'm now more excited about Gooby than Where the Wild Things Are, but no, I'm not exactly serious. I've laughed my ass off at the trailer; this film looks like a wonderfully low-budget pic about --there's no way around it-- a retarded bear, whose character design is so poor and hilarious, and the plot so cheesy and un-self-aware that I can't wait to watch it for all the unintentional laughs.

You're being sarcastic ... right?

Okay, good, just checking. 'Cause I couldn't help notice that the trailer felt like it was made by a proud team of high schoolers.
Eugene Levy really will do any movie, won't he?
Bringin' Down The House proved the point to me.
