stumbling through life with one eye shut
Admittedly, he didn't prepare a novel talk for TED -- it was a condensed version of previous lectures he's given both privately (at universities) and publically (via PBS's various NOVA series on the human mind where they have consulted with him and interviewed him). But in spite of what the critics write on TED's feedback, I have to agree that this was a good speech and very accessable to all but the simplest of human minds.
